Head of School
Dr. Rasha Hassan
Dr. Rasha Hassan is the Head of Westcliff International School and brings with her an extensive background in both education and scientific disciplines. With a passion for fostering student success and lifelong learning, she has spent years creating positive and engaging learning environments. Dr. Hassan has worked internationally, including in Canada, where she contributed to student development and curriculum design, particularly focusing on integrating modern educational technologies and accommodating diverse learning styles.
Her experience spans from classroom teaching to student mentorship, with a focus on enhancing student experiences across elementary, middle, and higher education levels. Dr. Hassan’s leadership at Westcliff is driven by her dedication to holistic education, combining academic rigor with emotional and social development to prepare students for a global future.
Holding qualifications in Advanced Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, alongside her background in Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Hassan’s multidisciplinary expertise reflects her commitment to continuous growth and innovation in education. Now, as the Head of Westcliff International School, she is excited to apply her international experience and dedication to Westcliff’s mission of providing a world-class, nurturing educational environment.
School Principals
Dr. Abeer Atef
Middle and High School Principal - American Section
Dr Abeer Atef is the Middle and High School Principal of the American Section at Westcliff International School. With more than 14 years of experience in education and leadership, she has worked across prominent British and American international schools, with a strong focus on student development and academic excellence.
Dr Abeer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dental and Oral Surgery from Cairo University, alongside a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the American University in Cairo. Since 2010, she has combined her scientific background with a deep passion for teaching and school leadership.

Her approach to education is grounded in structure, empathy, and collaboration. She is committed to creating an environment where every student can thrive both academically and personally, while maintaining the high standards and values of Westcliff International School.
Mrs. Amina Nouh
Lower and Upper Secondary Principal - British Section
Mrs. Amina Nouh is the Head of the British Section at Westcliff International School, with over 15 years of experience in education. Specialising in teaching Business Studies and Economics, she has worked across the British and International Baccalaureate systems at renowned institutions.
She holds a Dual BA in Marketing and International Business from MSA University and Middlesex University, London. Mrs. Amina has also completed specialised training courses for CIE and IB Business Studies, alongside various professional development programs.
Her leadership combines educational and business expertise with a passion for fostering student growth. She is committed to maintaining academic excellence while ensuring a supportive environment for both students and staff.
